A big thanks to you, Dave and the Team for another fabulous week in La Praz.  We had a really great time, the snow was amazing and Natalie and Dave provided some excellent lessons for us especially to maximise then powder days!  Chalet Rosalie was a really nice chalet and the chalet staff were very friendly and helpful.  The food was good and we felt very looked after!  Once again you’ve given a great skiing experience and we look forward to seeing you all soon!!

As always we had a wonderful week.  Karen and Tom.were brilliant and had a lovely relationship which helped to make a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere.  I've been asked to check out next year as we'd like to rebook but possibly later in January, early February.  One of our gang devised this poem.  With the help of an App  but the sentiment is sincere.  We thought that you may like it:

Chalet Rosalie was great and Mollie and Rachel were amazing – great food, great service and great fun.  The Savoyard Evening was ideal for one of the chalet staff’s days off – something different and really brought our group together – would definitley recommend it.  thank you for allowing us to use the emergency back entrance too – it really made a difference for one of the gang.  Thanks also to Niall the Ski Tech – he was really helpful and nothign was too much trouble, changing ski poles etc.  The instructing team did a great job too – especially with David and Wendy who were new to skivo – they thoroughly enjoyed it and I would think that they will be back.   Enjoy the rest of the season and certainly we hope to be back again in 2024. (Alasdair Mackenzie, Chalet Rosalie Gang)

Good morning Tracey. I would just like to thank you and all in skivo2 for giving us a great holiday last week.  The three of us had a fantastic time.  While it was helped a bit by the continuous sunshine, the accommodation, the food, the lessons, the organisation and of course the welcome were all excellent.  You even managed to provide great company in the chalet with the other guests.  It was great to be back on skis after 4 years and back in Courchevel. We would if possible like to book next year when we can…same week, same chalet if at all possible.  (Bremner Family, Chalet Valeriane)

Dear Tracey.  Nice to meet up with you and your hubbie  during my recent trip to Courcheval. Nice to put face to the name!  Firstly I would like to say, what a great time I had. skivo has never disappointed me. The care and attention to guests, from the pick up with Andy to the guys in the chalet. I felt my skiing started to really improve by mid-week. Thanks to Mari for her expert tuition on the slopes. Team Tupper had a brilliant week and, whether you like it or not, you will very probably be seeing them again next year, as well as others who will be recommended the company! The location of the chalet near the gondola was terrific, as were the couple who ran it, super food and wine (etc) and the village was big enough for the demands of their night life.  It made a massive difference dealing with a small, personal team for our late booking, Max’s change of airport and late arrival and your being able to accommodate Hugo. We couldn’t compare it to being with a large ski company spread across lots of resorts. The lads will be recalling their crashes, ‘le grand couloir’ and the tequila slammers over Christmas lunches for years to come. Many, many thanks to you and the whole team for all your help, right down to your prompt assistance with receipts for David’s injury. (Team Tupper, Chalet Elise)

I have been meaning to email all of you to thank you for all the support, I will email Lynn separately as she was a star in resort too! We had a brilliant time, the clients LOVED the combination of skiing & coaching and I think you should have a number of new clients from it too as I know at least 3 of them are looking at next year and 1 looking at Easter this year with her family!! The conditions couldn’t have been better to showcase Courchevel & as usual all your staff were awesome – you were so right about the team in Rosalie looking after us – what a fab couple! (Annie, Chalet Rosalie)

I recently stayed in Chalet Nicola with a party of friends and would like to praise the service we received from our Chalet Team, Amy and Jodie. Amy was our Welcome Host and she made our group of 12 feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. She was always there to offer any assistance we required and always with a smile. Jodie was our chalet chef and the food she produced was always to an excellent standard and quality. Nothing was ever too much trouble even when she was hit with dietary requirements at short notice, she was always able to accommodate with an alternative dish and her flapjacks are to die for. I cannot thank the girls enough for making what was already a fantastic trip, even more enjoyable. (Jackie, Chalet Nicola)

I can’t recommend Rob Grant highly enough. We were a group of 8 with mixed abilities, with Rob taking time with each one of us, making sure everyone’s bad habits were identified and recommendations generously given. Rob instantly spotted where we were going wrong & fixing these issues with in-depth technical explanation of what we were doing, why it was bad and what we should be doing, with loads of fun drills and exercises along the way. After the week of lessons I felt like I was skiing much more efficiently and in control. I’ll be back for more. (Eamonn)

I wanted to contact you and let you know that we had a wonderful time in Chalet Roger mid January. It was very cosy and we were very well looked after by Anne, Jess and Mollie. The other guests were also friendly and we all mixed well together.  The food especially was fantastic. My friend was very pleased with Anne’s adaptations for her restricted diet.  I am vegetarian, mainly vegan, food was very tasty and innovative. The lessons were exactly suited to our standards and we felt we had really improved by the end of the week.I can see why so many of our fellow guests return every year.Thank you to everyone in the team for a lovely week. (Susan, Chalet Roger)

Thank you for another great week with skivo. It’s always lovely to see so many familiar faces – Ann, Lynn and the instructors. Thank you all for such a fantastic week, we all agreed it was the best ski holiday ever.  In the chalet, (Fontaine) Laura, Matt and Zoe couldn’t have been nicer, they were so friendly, helpful, accommodating of some of our party’s food foibles, nothing was too much trouble and they were a joy to be around and a credit to skivo2. Everyone else that we met o do with the company was the same, Nick and Rob going back and forth for comfier boots, I can’t mention everyone in case I leave someone out!   All the skiing groups were great, when skiing lessons were mentioned, our boys replied, “We don’t have skiing lessons, we just have an amazing time skiing with Tom”! Toby had a wonderful time with Amy despite screaming his head off to start with, he is still chattering on about Queen, the Magical forest and the Alien forest!  The sentiment was much the same for the other groups, I’m not sure if the standard of the singing coming down the mountain was the same though!  So , Thank you all, and especially Dave for helping us to come!  The Skiing fund for next year started on Saturday!  Best wishes to all skivo2 people,  Happy New Year and enjoy the rest of the season!  (Barry, Frances, Leo and Finn / Sarah, Phil, Toby and Harry, Chalet Fontaine)

Very belated thanks for another amazing week with skivo last month! We had an amazing time with superb conditions. Everything was great – loved Sapin Bleu – especially our amazing room! Emma and Vicki were great hosts and a credit to the company – all very efficient and calm – lovely food and surroundings. Catriona and I very much enjoyed our tuition with Amy – she was great with her group of ladies, Neil and Calum enjoyed their tuition too! It was Calum’s first time with skivo and he was very impressed by the whole set-up . We had such a great time when we were away and we got on great with Ann, Rachael and Jo. We were so well looked after and the chalet really felt like home from home. Ski instruction was fantastic and the guys were really flexible with us when it came to the creche arrangements. The kids loved the skiing which was my primary goal! After being skiing for many years over time, this was my first experience of a chalet holiday – I was very impressed. We had a wonderful holiday thanks to the great service provided by all of Skivo’s team; the food was superb (nothing too much trouble for the chalet staff – Matt, Karen & Georgie), our ski group size of 4 was ideal and Amy was friendly, patient and encouraging ( maximum group size of 8 is a definite USP, having been in groups of 15!!) The fitting of skis etc was very efficient and we much appreciated Fraser giving us a lift back to Chalet Roger with our equipment. Of course, the excellent ski conditions added to the whole experience and Courchevel (again, a first for me) is an excellent resort. Chalet Roger – overall a great chalet.  We were very lucky with Jim’s group of 17, all of whom were very friendly . Also, it was such a bonus to be able to help ourselves to refreshments when returning to the chalet (early or late afternoon) – plenty to eat – we never went hungry. Now on a diet! Hi Tracey. I hope you had a good trip back and also enjoyed your holiday. We had a great week with Skivo – my eighth, but the first for my wife and her two friends, and also for the lovely group of people with whom we shared Chalet Roger.  Karen, Matt and Georgie looked after use fantastically well; nothing was too much trouble and Karen’s cooking was superb. The lessons with Rob (me) and Marisa and friends (Ami) were really good and, of course, we had amazing weather and snow. I’m off to Les Arcs in a couple of weeks and then have 10 days ski touring in Italy in March, but we’re all looking forward, though, to a skivo trip in 2019.  Many thanks for all your help. Hi Tracey.  We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday and your team are marvellous. They swept us up promptly on Saturday evening to be fitted for skis and given our passes. We had anticipated this being a headache because of our late arrival but your staff were great. The chalet staff were great fun but professional. Ann our chef provided us with a wide variety of meals. I had been worried as I can be fussy but there wasn’t one meal which I didn’t like and I appreciated the amount of fresh vegetables and fruit on offer throughout the week. The lessons were well run and I thought my skiing improved. I would have preferred lessons at an earlier time than 11.30 but perhaps next time!  I look forward to another holiday with skivo2. Another amazing week with skivo2!   The weather was definitely not as sunny as last year, but on a positive note, we had some fantastic fresh powder every day. We had such a great time, on the slopes and in Chalet Elise.  Iona & Jess looked after us superbly and were extremely accommodating. I’m not sure what they thought of our wild entertainment though.  Lynn was as charming and helpful as ever and Amy & Blake did a brilliant job.  We love our week with skivo2 so much that we would like to book Chalet Elise again next year. I know it’s still a bit early for that, but please pencil us in for January 2019.  Thanks again Tracey for all your hard work and for being so understanding and flexible.  I hope you enjoy your time in Courchevel as much as we enjoyed ours. Thanks for the email, we didn’t get a chance to fill in the form at Rosalie, so a good reminder!  Chalet – room 1, was better than anticipated as it was made up into a double which we didn’t expect. Lovely towels and welcome kit, water etc, usual high standard of cleaning.  Food excellent and Ceri was an absolute star, nothing was to much trouble. I would definitely point her out as one of the best chefs we’ve had.  Tuition – we had Georgina for the first time and whilst I was disappointed that we didn’t get on the All Mountain course, she certainly put us through our paces and we learnt some excellent technical elements which we needed at this stage in our skiing, she also coped well with the large range of abilities within our group.  I will send another email as I want to book for next year.  (Donna Jackson, Chalet Rosalie)

Hi Tracey, I wanted to provide some direct feedback on our holiday.   We did fill in a feedback form but it was so good, the form didn’t seem enough!  Our 2 children said it was the best holiday they ever had.  The lessons that Magdalene and Magnus had with Amie and Ben really brought on their skiing.  Thank you that they both supported the 4 children.   We were amazed how good they were in the jumps in the family park.   It was such a joy to see them improve so much.  Pernille and Johannes also enjoyed being with Dave as someone they could really trust and they both said how much they felt their skiing or nerves improved.  I also had a good time with Rob as did Melanie.  It made such a difference I must say all being able to ski together by having the lesson all at the same time.  Chalet Roger was really excellent.  Matt was the best host I have had with skivo, he works so hard, nothing is too much trouble for him. As always we had a fab holiday with skivo2 over the Christmas week.  The three girls in Nicola (Hollie, Phoebe and Nia) were all absolutely brilliant making the chalet home from home during our stay.  The food was absolutely spot on and the cakes for afternoon tea really excelled this year.  The kids loved all of their meals especially the make your own pizza meal.  Georgie’s brother and his family were absolutely great company during our stay even entertaining and spoiling the children within the chalet at every possible opportunity.  As you’ve said the snow conditions were out of this world this year making for some great skiing.  The kids really enjoyed their ski lessons with Amy (supported by Ben) and have made great progress as a result.  For Kris and I we had long standing favourites Rob and Pat respectively and both had great weeks on the snow.   Overall, a most enjoyable holiday.  Andy McDonald)

Just to say a big thank you for sorting us all out . We had a fabulous time, with fantastic snow of course which makes masses of difference.  Thank you for the upgrade to Fontaine, which although we like Roger, Fontaine, was cosy and extremely close to the slopes, not to be beaten for that. Could not fault Ann as chef and Rachael as host, the best combination/team we have ever had i think and that is saying something. Nothing was too much trouble for either of them, Ann had some interesting food requests from other guests to deal with and there was never a problem, and was very accommodating for our dislike of fish and intolerance of pork. I never had to remind her. Rachael deserves a very special mention as she coped amazingly with hosting and going up and down so many stairs from the sitting room to the kitchen and being on her own for most of the time, but she never complained and was an amazing host.  Lessons as always great.  Thank you for being so accommodating, we continue to recommend you to all our Jersey friends .. and we will definitely be back, either Christmas or Feb half term next year, and may even come this Feb half term – the snow is so tempting…… !!  (Helen Thomas, Chalet Fontaine)

We have returned from Courchevel and wanted to say thanks to all the staff there as they went above and beyond what we expected.  One of our suitcases was lost at Luton.  When we collected our peeordered skis not only did they help with messing kit until the bag arrived but even lent me a pair of salopettes for a day. Dear Tracey.  Just wanted to say what a wonderful holiday we had recently.  Chalet Yalet was great and my friends and I are keen to return next February.  I think what made it so good was all the friendly help from the very start, to getting there and getting skis etc sorted out.  The chalet staff were great, and a big shout out for Tom our ski instructor who really helped to improve our skiing with excellent tuition and endless patience.  The only negative was paying a single supplement  but on the plus side better as no one was snoring in my ear!!  A big thank you to all, from yourself right the way through.  (Karen Duck, Chalet Yale)

We have just finished our week in Chalet Elise and we had a fabulous time, once again. The weather was, and still is, absolutely amazing. I can’t remember having ever had bright sunshine for the all week, especially in January.

Tom is great fun as well as educational in lessons. TBH, the snow is better than we expected and of course it’s thin in bits but there’s loads of skiing for our short break. Hi Tracey.  We had a great time, the chalet was lovely and comfortable, and the girls did a great job of cleaning it and cooking some lovely meals for us too.  I’d like to add a big thank you to everyone who helped after I injured my knee and brought my skiing to an abrupt end, I was certainly glad to have the services of skivo in getting me back from the medical centre after my x-ray, and Rob was brilliant in getting help for me on the slopes.  I am making a good recovery, though the French doctor was sadly wrong and I did rupture my cruciate ligament after all – both knees had strained ligaments and bruised bones but really nothing too bad.  Nothing to stop me skiing next Winter.  All being well we hope to book with skivo again sometime next Winter!  (Helen Ewers and Family)

Our holiday last week was everything we hoped it would be. The chalet, food, staff and lessons with Tom and Pat were all great and looked after us very well. We can’t blame you for the snow! The ride down to the gondola in the morning was very useful and saved us a lot of hassle – we hired a locker down there too which was a worthwhile idea given the circumstances. Dear Tracey,  I hope you are having a fabulous last week, interested to hear how the snow is that late, as we may be doing that week next year? Just dropping a wee line to say huge thanks for another fabulous week with skivo, it’s such a pleasure to feel part of the extended family if only for a week.  We had a brilliant time in Chalet Yale with Iona and Lewis, after putting up with our very late arrival on the Saturday, and despite this all was in place for us on Sunday to get our gear and passes and all ready for lessons at 9am.  We had brilliant instruction but a special mention to our ‘zen master’ Pat! from the grown ups and Blake and Tom from the girls and Robbie.  The view up the hill from Yale is with me back at work, as are the memories of skiing home despite the lateness of the season.  Massive thanks to Tracey and Susan for all your help and advise along the way,and we are looking forward to joining you next year.  (Love from the Somerville and McLeish families, Chalet Yale)

Thanks both of you for another great ski holiday in March this year.  I tried the ski train to the Alps for the first time and luckily the journeys there and back went well; and both the outgoing and return minibus transfers to the resort went smoothly (as the train journey itself is so long, it’s a relief to have a quick and efficient minibus transfer!).It was great to be on the slopes again; we were fortunate with the weather and snow conditions, and there were some really friendly people in the holiday group once again.  The hosts/chefs at Chalet Roger were very cheerful, friendly, welcoming and helpful and the food was brilliant as usual (and as always there was plenty of food to go round).   Thanks again to both of you, and I look forward to booking another skivo holiday soon.  (Chris Rugg, Chalet Roger)

Hi Tracey, we’re back from our first week with skivo2 and just wanted to say what an amazing week we had. Our host and chef were a delight and made everyday special for us.  The level of ski tuition was also great and the kids enjoyed every minute!  (Jayne Whitbread, Chalet Sapin Bleu)

We had a fantastic time.  I think we had an even better time than in December which is saying something.  I honestly think skivo2 is the skiing world’s best kept secret! Not that we won’t be recommending you of course but it is amazing hearing of what other people put up with when we are so spoiled rotten.  Anyway Iona and Lewis were fantastic again. Really nice to see that they were totally pro at the end of the season. Dave took us for lessons so it was nice to catch up and reminise about our time with Sheila too.  His daughter Amy looked after the kids lovely and Susan and Simon were great again.  Chambery makes a huge difference in terms of airport hassle. It took about 1 hr 15min which I know can be longer in traffic but we struck it lucky. Can’t leave without saying a huge thank you to you again for being so organised and helpful as always.  (Helen Godfrey, Chalet Yale)

Thank you so much for yet another amazing holiday!! Can’t believe that’s my 7th consecutive March week in Courchevel. For me, I really don’t think it can be improved upon. It was just perfect – lovely people, lovely welcoming chalet and hostess and food, beautiful location, wonderful ski instruction – and great skiing! We even had Dave Beattie drive us back to Moutiers. The train was lovely, as always and it was especially nice to see a few familiar faces at the station and on the train.  I thought it was great how the holiday appeared to run itself (I’m sure there was heaps of work going on in the background!) Just a quick email to thank you for such a wonderful holiday in Courchevel last week. I really cannot think of anything that could have made it better. Thought I’d drop you a quick line to thank you for our best skivo2 holiday yet (our 7th!!!). Was nice to be back in Rosalie where Rob and Robyn did a fantastic job of looking after us. Dave, you’ve always said that Caitlin was a cracking wee skier but this season she blew us away after only a couple of lessons with Natalie….. 57.7mph she was clocked at!!!!! …. not bad for someone who has just turned 8!!  A big thank you to Natalie for bringing her on so much in such a short time. Hi Tracey.  Having just returned from a week in Chalet Rosalie I thought I would drop you a line to say that, once again, we had an absolutely fantastic holiday. The Chalet was wonderful and Rob and Robyn were a fantastic chef and host. They certainly couldn’t have made us anymore welcome and the quality of the food was exceptional and that included the children’s meals.   As a family, we all had different ski coaches throughout the week. I had Pat who, being an old friend from back home,is always a pleasure to be with and his coaching certainly brings me on each and every year. My wife had Rob who was also great, but the cream on the cake for us was my son Llewelyn having a week of 1:1 tuition with Tom. Thanks ever so much for being able to tend to our request of him being in lessons with Tom. He had so much fun and was absolutely thrilled when Tom turned up for his first coaching session. The progress he made within the week was, in my opinion, exceptional. I know that it was down to there being no other children staying with skivo2 last week, but where else would he have had 1:1 tuition all in the package price of the holiday. I hope that you can extend our thanks to him (as we did).  The creche is always difficult to comment on as all we see is the part where we drop Dafydd off and then pick him up. That said, he seemed to thoroughly enjoy his time and the fact that there were no tears or protests when we left him speaks volumes.  At a time when everyone is concerned with value for money, I think that the services provided by skivo2 are unique and a cut above other packages that exist out there. We have, over the past three years, felt confident in booking a full family holiday with you that is stress free and focused on quality.  We will certainly be back again in 2016 and thanks once again for a fantastic holiday.  (Jason, Elen, Llew and Daf O’Brien, Chalet Rosalie)

Before my ski break becomes a distant memory (I’ve been meaning to put pen to email for at least the last 2 weeks), I thought I’d just drop you alla line, to say how well the whole skivo2 experience came together for me. That is the first time I’ve skied on my own, but I hoped I would end upeither skiing with chalet friends, or class mates in David’s classes, and I think the last visit was with the previous 3 Valleys Ski company was in 1996or thereabouts ! As it turned out, I skied with both.  From the Zurich-diverted flight to Geneva on Saturday midday with its very significant delays, Sam was there with a cheerful smile to usher usefficiently back to Le Praz where Matt was still engaged with the skis at 8pm ish, so no time was wasted on Sunday morning.  Our chef and host, Iona & Lewis were still there to greet a late traveller, and throughout the holiday, I always felt they both went ‘the extra mile’ toensure that all chalet residents’ needs were met. I felt Iona’s cooking always hit the spot, whether for the main meals or the indulgent cakes – onreturning home, our scales proved this to be so ! if I had one small tip, it would be just great to have a ski locker at the ground floor of Yale, but thismaybe difficult due to ownership issues!  I was impressed with Pat’s intensity, and Tom’s more laid back approach, as I seemed to oscillate between the two classes.  In summary, I always felt that behind the scenes great co-ordination work was being put in hand to make the holiday as straightforward and hassle-free as possible. The one thing skivo2 can’t control is the weather, and I guess we could have been luckier. However, the picture comes up of the regal swan making everything look effortless, when all below water is probably hard graft.  So on my behalf please thank all those who made my break so enjoyable. (Giles Wilkinson, Chalet Yale)

We have just had an amazing holiday made possible by you at skivo2. Chalet Rosalie was very smart and comfortable and the lift was a great bonus after several hard days skiing with weary legs.  We had another really great family skiing new year with you in Courchevel Le Praz last week. Your skivo guys in the resort were as good as ever, and in particular Lucy and Tilly in our Sapin Bleu chalet looked after us brilliantly too.  We did have a nightmare journey on the Saturday (along with everyone else in the Alps) but the soft new snow and sunny skies for the rest of the week made it all worth it. Again a great week in the French Alps being pampered by the skivo 2 team. Despite less snow than usual, we skied the most we have ever skied. The resort pulled out all stops to make runs accessible. Chalet Nicola, was a new Chalet for us and very enjoyable, Hamish the Host set a roaring fire and was always ready with a smile and good humour … a fantastic young lad doing a brilliant job. Molly the chef produced scrumptious meals every evening, along with afternoon tea and breakfast, a hard working young lady. Hamish and Molly present themselves as a solid team and the Chalet has a relaxed, organised air. The provision and the daily sandwiches and the mini-buses to the Ski lifts in the morning were so appreciated. As always the instructors, Susan, Tracey and Dave provided a personal, professional service. Thank you to all at skivo 2.  (Jacky Barrack Chalet Nicola)

Just to say that we had a brilliant holiday staying at Maison Beaufort over Christmas. It was perfect for us as a family group of 8. Anne was a fabulous cook and lovely person. She looked after us so kindly and Louise helped out at night.  We were all very comfortable though I don’t know how Anne managed to turn out so much superb food from that tiny kitchen! I wanted to drop you a note to thank you for another superb Christmas week of skiing this year, and I wanted to share a few comments with you. Catriona was by far the best chalet host we have had. She was very friendly, helpful and organised.  Her standards were very high, and the level of tidiness and especially cleanliness in the chalet and kitchen was excellent.  As usual the food was superb, and the wine was even better than last year. The skiing lessons were excellent and I particularly enjoyed the lessons with Pat, who I have not skied with before. Just thought that I’d take the time out to say that we had an absolutely fantastic holiday with skivo2 last week. It was the first skiing holiday that we have had with our children and they absolutely loved it, which made life a great deal easier for us.  Our youngest was in crèche all day and our eldest had lessons. Not only were we pleased that he enjoyed the experience of skiing, but also that he seemed to take to it exceptionally well; the credit for this clearly goes to his instructor Tom, who we thought was absolutely fantastic and certainly knew how to bring the best out in Llewelyn. In the last day end of lesson session, we did not have time to thank him, so please could you extend our gratitude to him and hope that we will see him again next year. (As indeed does Llewelyn).  The quality of our adult lessons / coaching was also exceptional and knowing Pat from having grown up with him, I knew that his passion and enthusiasm would be reflective of the company.  Last, but not least, the chalet was also great. Very spacious and the adjoining room for us and the children made life a lot simpler. Sarah and Simon were great hosts / chefs and created a very relaxed and calm chalet atmosphere, despite having our kids running around. They certainly made a great effort with the children, and indeed with all of the guests. The food was also of a high quality and there was not one meal that was not enjoyed by all. Our eldest commented that they should be on “master chef”, and for a usually fussy eater, that is praise indeed!! The comments above are based upon our comparison of having been keen skiers for some 20years and having stayed with a range of companies in a range of chalets, as well as having been a chalet host myself in a previous life. I can genuinely say that skivo2 provided us with the best experience so far and we would have no hesitation in recommending all aspects of the service to our friends and will certainly be returning in 2014.  I would be very grateful if you could advise us of when we can book for 2014. ……and thank you all very much for a great holiday.  (Jason O’Brien, Chalet Yale)

Just a short note to say how much Jane and I enjoyed our skiing holiday with skivo2. The whole package was excellent but we were particularly impressed with the standard of the chalet. Just back from another fabulous holiday with Skivo.  We were blessed with fabulous snow conditions, (although visibility wasn’t great through the week – which became a good test of our skiing….), and we really enjoyed the lessons once again.  Being able to ski in powder, both on and off-piste, so much this year was an excellent bonus and, as usual, the standard of catering was top notch.  Robin did a great job in accommodating our fussy youngest (Cathy) as part of producing kids meals in Nicola.  Thanks very much for another great skiing holiday.  (Paul Mullan, Chalet Nicola)

Hi Tracey, how was your train trip .hope it was good.  Our journey was on time both ways and the views where good to ,on the way back most of France by then was under a blanket of snow .the trees were all covered looked like a post card.  The holiday was really good too – great lessons with Rob, had a lot of fun.  The snow just kept falling all week with about 50 cm on Wednesday night so loads of powder on Thursday, not seen it like that for a good few years.  The lessons were at 9am so as they opened the mountain up do to late opening due to the deep snow etc we got first tracks all morning.  Then Friday out came the sun just to make the week end with style.  The staff were good in the chalet, food was good etc rooms good as we had not stayed in there before.   (Carl Padgham, Chalet Roger)

Dave, Georgina, many thanks for yet another great skivo2 holiday.  Chalet Roger was ideal – the all en-suite made the difference – and all 3 of the chalet staff did a first class job.  Valli had a great time in Rob’s class, even though she missed the odd day with a stiff knee (age, not an injury).  Tom continued the  tradition of great coaching with pertinent feedback, not just exercises, and I skied places I’d not even have considered without him. I really felt that I progressed and had a great time. On the Wednesday Jim and I thought that we’d had the best day’s skiing ever and it couldn’t get better; back with Tom on Thursday it did.  Please give him my thanks.  We’ve missed a few years skiing (Australia, exams etc) and it is time to catch up.  Please do keep me on the mailing list and let me know of any last minute spaces, we might yet get another week in. (Robert Cawte, Chalet Roger)

Many many thanks for your hospitality in Le Praz.  We again really enjoyed our stay with skivo2. The apartment was spotlessly clean, warm, welcoming and extremely comfortable. The hosting and food was certainly up with the best we have experienced with the company.  Morven is an excellent host, she is organised, efficient and extremely pleasant.  Our chef Taite produced the nicest and most imaginatively varied dishes that we have ever had served to us. I would be happy to be served the dishes in an expensive restaurant. Hi Dave, just a quick thank you for such a great holiday , we were among the Duffy party of 15 , and had the best new year we have had in years . The snow conditions were amazing , I realise you didn’t have anything to do with that !! , the instructors were great , we all really enjoyed our afternoon lessons , and picked up a few great tips as well as loosing some old bad habits . Just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time skiing recently. Thank you for all your help and efficiency in our booking.  We had somegreat snow, some lovely sunshine and plenty of good skiing. Once again we all felt that skivo2 looked after us really well and that standards of customer service are being maintained! Charlotte was thrilled to have 4 hours of 1:1 tuition with Pat during the first couple of days. We also felt that Taite was a superb chef and produced probably the best food we have ever had (despite him being very poorly during the week). Just a quick note to say thanks for a great trip last week! Freddie and I had a fab time  – needless to say he was a lot better than me with the skiing and is now hooked. Our instructor, Tom, was brilliant and had Freddie on a couple of reds, a black and some off piste as well so he certainly packed it in for a first-ever week. Chalet Roger was great, as were Louise, Nikolai and Melinda – we loved the evening meals and, in my case, the fact that you could have as much wine as you wanted – oops. A definite plus, to go with those necessary Kir Royales.   I think skivo2 really scores with the instruction and the ski equipment, in the sense that Blake filled me with confidence as a technician when he was fitting me out, was really helpful, patient etc etc and the two guys who taught us were really patient but moved us on quickly, no-nonsense etc. Also loved the resort and appreciated the fact that it’s a great place to learn.
