Please call the UK office:    +44 (0)1635 278847

We will be delighted to discuss chalet availability and any of your specific ski holiday requirements in full detail.

We will be able to let you know availability of all of our chalets, discuss which chalets are best suited to your particular needs, provide advice on childcare and ski lessons, chat about any special requirements or requests your party may have and also provide in depth information on Le Praz and Courchevel.

Our sales and marketing manager, Tracey, who is based in the UK office, has visited all of our chalets and worked in resort for over 10 years. She has a wealth of knowledge with which to assist you.

Placing an option

When you have decided on the date you would like to travel and the chalet in which you would like to stay email or call the UK sales office to confirm availability.  We will then:

  • hold a booking option on your selected chalet or specific rooms in your chosen chalet at no cost to you for a short agreed period to allow you time to confirm details with other party members.
  • ask you to complete a booking form and pay the deposit within a specific timescale once you have confirmed you wish to proceed with the booking.
  • email confirmation of receipt of your deposit payment and officially confirm your booking.

Please note that until we have issued this confirmation email this remains a provisional booking which skivo can withdraw/amend at any point.  Once the official confirmation email has been issued this becomes a confirmed booking.

If you either do not confirm the booking option nor complete the paperwork or pay the deposit within the agreed timescales then the booking option will lapse and the chalet or rooms will automatically be reentered into our booking system as being available. If a booking option lapses and the chalet or rooms are still available then you are, of course, welcome to renew the option.

Holding your booking

Complete the online reservation form and submit it and arrange payment of the non refundable deposit before the expiry of your option. Payment can be made either by:

  • arranging a bank transfer (our preferred option)
  • calling us to pay by debit or credit card

We require a non refundable deposit in the sum of £250 per person or if you are taking sole occupancy of the chalet then the required deposit will be equal to the number of beds in the chalet or number of guests in your party x the non refundable deposit (whichever is the greater number). Please email the UK office for exact details.

All deposits are non-refundable.

Any alterations made subsequent to skivo receiving your booking form will, regrettably, incur an administration charge which will be advised at that time.

Confirming your booking

A confirmation acknowledgment of your booking will be emailed to you once your deposit payment has been processed by our Finance Section and it is at this stage that your booking becomes confirmed.

Please ensure that you check your confirmation acknowledgement email carefully and notify us within 48 hours of any changes which need to be made.

Final payment

A final balance invoice will be sent by email. This final balance invoice must be paid no later than 12 weeks before your departure date. If payment is not received within this period the booking may be treated by skivo as cancelled by the client and we retain the right to retain deposits which have been paid.

Payment type

Our preferred method of payment is by bank transfer. If it is more convenient for you to pay by debit/credit card we are happy to take payment this way. We are not able to accept American Express.

Final confirmation

Shortly prior to your departure date you will be issued with a final holiday confirmation email with various guest information.

Please note that winter sports insurance is not included in the cost of your holiday and you should ensure that you have full winter sports holiday insurance in place before travelling.

Now that the UK has left the EU, all non-EU Nationals should view Visiting the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) or the relevant French or Swiss (if flying in to Geneva) embassy websites.  We advise that EU Nationals ensure their passport is valid for the entirety of their holiday and for at least six months after the journey home.

This information should be double-checked with the relevant home embassy.  Children (including infants) require their own passport.
