Chalet Valeriane is a very homely and charming chalet. With a warm welcome, delicious food and exceptionally comfortable and cosy rooms, it is an ideal place for a ski holiday.
Being in the old village it’s close to the bars and restaurants, yet only 250 metres to the lifts. It is just opposite L’Elephant (previously the Pizzeria).
All of the bedrooms have large wardrobes and plenty of storage space. All bedrooms are either ensuite or have their own private facilities close to the room.
Access to our chalets on arrival day is from 15:00hrs onwards. If you arrive earlier you are welcome to deposit your luggage in the garage/hallway and then explore the local area. There is a free ski bus which connects the Courchevel villages.
On departure day please vacate your bedroom by 10:00hrs. If you wish to ski on your day of departure you are then welcome to use an area in the chalet to change out of your ski gear at the end of skiing.

Location
Chalet Valeriane is set in the middle of Le Praz giving excellent access to local amenities. It is just over a two-minute walk to the gondola station from the chalet. At the end of the day, you can ski across the lakeside area straight back to the road which is less than 70 metres from the chalet.

Chalet Parking
Please note that we do not have allocated parking spaces at our chalets. We have a limited number of parking spaces in resort and parking spaces are reserved strictly on a first booked basis. You may be allocated a parking space at another chalet. If all parking spaces have been allocated you can book a parking space at The Alpinium in Le Praz (covered, payable parking and subject to availability). A chalet parking space should be requested at the time of paying your holiday deposit. Your chalet parking space will be reserved from early evening on your day of arrival until late afternoon on your day of departure (as the majority of guests driving choose to ski on their departure day). If you arrive earlier and your parking space is still occupied by departing guests (and no other skivo parking space is available) then we invite you to park at The Alpinium for the day.
We made some changes to our catering services prior to the 2019/20 season. This has now been tweaked slightly and will continue into the forthcoming seasons. This change is industry-wide and is in line with other ski operators.

- Breakfast for 7 days (5 catered / 2 self service) consisting of cooked eggs, yoghurt, porridge, fresh fruit juice, fresh bread with a selection of jams and honey, fresh fruit bowl, local hams and cheeses, freshly brewed filter coffee or tea – full cooked breakfast on one morning
- When you return from the slopes in the afternoon a homemade cake or biscuits awaits, along with fresh baguettes, jams and conserves and a selection of soft cheeses. Hot chocolate is also available to help yourself too each day and a pot of warming vin chaud will be available on one afternoon when you return from skiing - please heat up and enjoy with a slice of delicious cake

Dear Tracey. Nice to meet up with you and your hubbie during my recent trip to Courcheval. Nice to put a face to the name! Firstly I would like to say, what a great time I had. skivo has never disappointed me. The care and attention to guests, from the pick up with Andy to the guys in the chalet. I felt my skiing started to really improve by mid-week. Thanks to the team for their expert tuition on the slopes. I will most certainly be back. Good morning Tracey. I would like to thank you and all in skivo for giving us a great holiday last week. The three of us had a fantastic time. While it was helped a bit by the continuous sunshine, the accommodation, the food, the lessons, the organisation and of course the welcome were all excellent. You even managed to provide great company in the chalet with the other guests. It was great to be back on skis after 4 years and back in Courchevel. We would if possible like to book next year when we can… same week, same chalet if at all possible? Thank you and have a great rest of the season.
I want to pass on our thanks for the wonderful trip we had at Valeriane. The chalet team were amazing chef and hosts and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. We were fortunate to have fabulous lessons and our instructors sayings and wisdom will live with me whilst skiing for many years to come.
