We invite our guests to make their own bespoke arrangements for their children for childcare during the day. We would advise that you pre-book as availability is limited. Please book early to ensure you are not disappointed!
We have a list of some fabulous childcare companies and professionals operating in Courchevel that are noted below. They’re able to offer private nannies to look after your children. Your chosen nanny will then come to your chalet and look after the kiddies in the comfort of their own chalet.

Children’s catering in our chalets
Breakfast
Our standard chalet breakfast is available in the morning for children under 2 years of age.
Lunch
Lunch is not provided by skivo. If you have booked a private nanny then please make arrangements for this directly with your nanny. Unlimited soft drinks will be provided in the chalet throughout the course of the day.
Dinner
Dinner is not offered for children under 2. You are asked to cater for them yourself in the evening. You are very welcome to help yourself to any leftover food from dinner the evening before and your chalet chef and host will assist you with this as much as possible. There will also be yoghurt, fruit bowl, bread and hams for you to help yourself to.
For those aged 2 years and above a Kids’ Tea can be arranged with your chalet hosts at around 6.00pm each evening. We find that most parents prefer their children to eat earlier so that they can then enjoy an adult dinner along with a relaxing glass of wine at 8.00pm. Please let us know in advance if you would prefer a Kids’ Tea for your children.
If your child has any particular dietary requirements then please notify us in advance of coming on holiday so we can accommodate them. Our standard Kids Tea menu is:

Saturday: Spaghetti bolognaise, ice cream & fruit
Sunday: Chicken goujons, potato wedges & sweetcorn, Pancakes with banana & Nutella
Monday: Staff day off
Tuesday: Chicken fajitas, Sponge & custard
Wednesday or Thursday: Staff day off
Wednesday or Thursday: Lasagne with peas & carrots, Fruit crumble & ice cream
Friday: Fish fingers, chips & peas, Chocolate fondue with fruit & marshmallows
Babysitting
A babysitting service is also available (at an additional hourly cost) on your chalet team’s nights off. As this service gets rapidly booked up during peak holiday periods we suggest that you enquire about this service upon arrival in resort to avoid disappointment.
General
If your child is 12 months or under, we would strongly recommend that you bring your own jars of baby food which your child is used to. This avoids the chance of any tummy upsets due to the change of food on arrival. Please bring along your own nappies and baby milk for your child if required.
There is no supermarket in the village, although there is one in Courchevel 1850.

Just wanted to say what a wonderful holiday we had recently. Chalet Sapin Bleu was a fabulous chalet (real luxury) and my friends and I are keen to return next season. I think what made it so good was all the friendly help from the very start, to getting there and getting skis etc sorted out. The chalet staff were great and the quality of the food was just amazing.
We had a great week with skivo – my eighth, but the first for my wife and her two friends, and also for the lovely group of people with whom we shared Chalet Roger. The entire skivo team looked after use fantastically well; nothing was too much trouble and Bogie’s cooking was superb. The lessons were really good and we had amazing weather and snow
Just wanted to email and thank you again for hosting us for such a wonderful week. Our whole party had the best time ever and we are all really struggling being back at work – especially as it is snowing heavily here! It is by far the best week of the year and we are very grateful to you and the whole skivo team for making it so memorable.
