Insurance of hired skis is recommended and available through skivo. Due to the increased rates of theft, loss and damage to hire skis we offer an insurance service, allowing you to benefit from the peace of mind that if anything does happen to your skis you are covered and you will not be landed with a big bill from us.
Ski insurances is cheap at 20€. Included in this price is cover for loss, theft or damage to the skis, poles or boots.
We will retain a record that you have taken out skivo Ski Insurance Cover and should anything untoward happen to your skis simply advise the ski technician with details of what has happened to the equipment. You will not have to pay a penny; they will be replaced that evening enabling you to ski uninterrupted.
If your hire skis are not insured you will be liable to pay £350 if they are lost, stolen or damaged.
The ski insurance is purely for your hired equipment and does not cover you for personal injury or personal belongings.
